North East office fitters plot growth
Washington-based office fitters AMH Workspace say they are looking for larger premises with showroom space as they plot a growth strategy.
The firm are celebrating 30 years in business, providing customised workspaces, design, fit-out and furniture to offices throughout the North East and beyond.
Managing director Ian Moir, said: “As part of our planned growth strategy we are looking to relocate to larger premises with showroom space to showcase our work and to demonstrate our commitment to providing a dynamic workspace for our staff and clients.
“Our anniversary is something we are very proud of and with lots of new projects in the pipeline we are very excited about the year ahead.”
AMH was established in 1984 by Ian and Clarice Moir and has since grown to a 15-strong team with a number of staff having been there for over 20 years.
Ian Moir, managing director, commented: ’Maintaining a business for three decades is a challenging undertaking. It demands the ability to stay ahead of emerging trends as well as customer needs.
“We have worked through many highs and lows and we are pleased to say that despite a number of tough years we are now experiencing a huge increase in enquiries.
“Towards the end of last year the market really started to pick up and as a result we recently announced contract wins of over £1.2 million for the last quarter.”
Maria Potts, finance director added: “The longevity of AMH is a credit to the individuals who work here. We believe that our staff’s loyalty is a positive reflection on the company and how we work well together as a team to deliver the highest standards of service to our clients.
“Our staff’s knowledge and expertise combined with a positive attitude has definitely been the key to our success and has secured us significant repeat business.”
