Utilitywise performance surpasses expectations
South Shields-based energy consultancy business Utilitywise say performance in the six months to February is ahead of management and board expectations.
Revenues and profit before tax both surpassed expectations with the number of secured contracts, not yet live, stood at a record £23.8 million - up from £18.2 million at September 30 2013.
The firm has enjoyed a string of successes; most recently Utilitywise secured a US patent on its smart energy monitoring system.
Geoff Thompson, chief executive of Utilitywise, commented: “The Company has performed well in the first half of the year, with a significant increase in both revenue and adjusted profit before tax on the previous year.
“We look forward to the remainder of the year with confidence.”
