Bond Dickinson appointed to pensions panel
National law firm Bond Dickinson, which has offices in Newcastle and Stockton-on-Tees, has been appointed to Suffolk Life’s newly created legal panel.
Suffolk Life is one of the UK’s leading providers and administrators of self-invested personal pensions (SIPP).
It owns in excess of 3,000 commercial properties on behalf of over 5,000 investors.
The newly created legal panel will advise Suffolk Life on buying and selling commercial property within a SIPP.
BondDickinson is one of three law firms to have been appointed to the panel following a competitive tender.
Real Estate director Joe Haigh commented: “We are delighted to have been appointed on Suffolk Life’s panel. This appointment is an acknowledgement of our extensive experience and expertise in commercial property investment within SIPPs. We look forward to working with the Suffolk Life team and alongside the other appointed law firms.”
Dominic Savage, Suffolk Life’s solicitor director of Property commented: “The combination of SIPPs and commercial property is a complex one.
“Advisers and investors are increasingly finding it difficult to access the appropriate expertise and experience they need from their legal representative, and the question ‘can you recommend a solicitor to me’ is fielded by my team ever more frequently.”
