Shop fit at Manor Walks

Cramlington shoppers looking to maintain a positive lifestyle can enjoy a healthy helping hand at Northumberland’s largest shopping centre as it aims to inspire the community’s wellbeing for 2014.

Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure is kicking bad habits goodbye as it hosts a free fitness session in conjunction with Concordia Leisure Centre in its Centre Mall on Tuesday, February 11 2014 from 11.30am to 2pm.

The drop in session run by trainers from Concordia Leisure Centre will offer shoppers a series of taster classes to demonstrate the type of fitness classes available at the leisure centre, including Bodypump, CX Worx, Body Balance, Metafit, Zumba and Bootcamp.

Free mini health assessments will also be available for shoppers to take part in with trainers back onsite in Manor Walks on Thursday, February 13 2014 from 11.30am to 2pm.

Manor Walks has a variety of retailers offering healthy alternatives to treat all lifestyles and tastes including Buzz Smoothies & Shakes, a new smoothie bar providing healthy frozen yogurt and fresh fruit smoothies, located opposite New Look and O2.

The Green Grocery, located in the East Mall, has a large array of fresh fruit and vegetables, whilst fresh produce is also conveniently available at ASDA and Sainsbury’s.

Manor Walks’ general manager, Bruno Coppola said: “The New Year is a great time to get fit and healthy and we understand that by February some people need a little encouragement to maintain their resolutions.
