Events solution brings home touring barriers

Crowd control specialist, Sheffield’s Events Solution, is expanding its product range to cater for increasing demand from the producers of film premiers and concerts.

The Kiveton Park-based firm has invested in 220 metres of aluminium front of stage touring barrier, ensuring it has the capacity to supply events of all sizes across the UK.

Events Solution has purchased the Prolyte barrier to meet the needs of production companies who require a light weight barrier system that is easy to erect and move around the country. The firm has also purchased travelling cages – stillages – which each hold 10 metres of barrier, to assist in transportation.

James Wood, Events Solution’s operations manager, said: “Aluminium barrier is extremely popular with production companies, as it can be loaded onto their trucks and transported with the rest of the equipment to keep costs down. It is a welcome addition to our stock products, enabling us to respond quickly to requests from a wide variety of sources and giving us the flexibility to cater for all types of events, from a festival needing 30 metres of fencing to a film premier requiring 150 metres.”
