New Year success adds up for Lloyd Piggott
North West accountancy firm Lloyd Piggott has kicked 2014 off to a successful start with a flurry of new client wins, staff appointments and significant company milestones.
The firm, which has bases in Manchester and Stockport, has recently picked up 23 significant new clients across a variety of sectors.
Lloyd Piggott offer expert advice on tax returns, business planning and PAYE.
To support the new client wins, the firm has appointed three new team members to bolster its already 20 strong team. Christopher Johnstone and Lisa Thompson both join the firm as tax seniors, whilst Louise Smith has been taken on as audit and accounts senior.
Company director Sue Redmond said: “We have significantly invested in the structure of the business over the last 12 months, ensuring our services and team align with the requirements of our customers.
“We’re a firm believer in ‘grow your own’, so whilst we’re keen to push on recruitment, we’re also committed to the training and development of our established team too.
“Company progression is really important to us, so we’re extremely pleased with our recent new business wins. As well as recognising the skills of our expert team, we believe our clients appreciate the tailored advice we provide without the complex jargon, often associated with accountancy.”
Sue Redmond, who became a partner at Lloyd Piggott in 2001, celebrates 20 years with the company this month after joining in 1994.
