Manchester's The Printworks - now with added Jam
JAMpr has clinched a contract with The Printworks in Manchester to promote the venue both regionally and nationally.
The agency came out on top in a highly competitive four-way pitch. The 12 month deal will see the agency publicising the urban entertainment complex both across the region and nationally.
Its first job will be to launch a PR drive for The Printworks’ Design A New Mascot competition.
Jaime Gee, MD at JAMpr said: “We are delighted to be working with such an iconic Manchester venue. We look forward to driving the PR efforts forward, and to supporting The Printworks on its activities over the next 12 months.
“The venue has over eight million visitors a year and is one of the most visited places in Manchester so our campaign will build on The Printworks’ strengths, drive footfall and reinforce its strong reputation in the region and beyond.”
The agency will develop a regional and nationwide PR campaign aimed at newspapers and websites, and will also take charge of blogger outreach activity. JAMpr will also handle press office duties and provide support during events.
Fred Booth, centre director at The Printworks, said: “The JAM team really got to grips with our proposition, our target audiences and got under the skin of our operation, which allowed them to deliver a highly creative and engaging solution to the brief.”
