Carrentals.co.uk is set to double affiliate revenues in 2014
Car hire comparison site, Carrentals.co.uk has seen a 61% uplift in revenues through the affiliate channel over the seven months since appointing affiliate marketing agency SYYCO in June 2013. Year on year channel revenues have doubled over December 2013 and January 2014, resulting in a 12 month extension to SYYCO’s service agreement with carrentals.co.uk.
The new contract follows on from SYYCO’s success in winning Carrentals.co.uk supplier and publisher management business in October 2013. Managing director of SYYCO, Simon Terry, said: “We were given the challenge to double the affiliate business over 12 months and we are well on track to do so.”
Terry’s team achieved their success by first focussing all Carrentals.co.uk business on a single affiliate network partner; Trade Doubler. Step two was to reinvigorate inactive affiliates and improve conversion ratios. This was achieved by offering exclusive rates, using a tiered commission structure while introducing more proactive recruitment and engagement process. At the same time SYYCO has helped Carrentals.co.uk extend their product portfolio to value brands by securing supply agreements with car hire companies like Car del Mar and Easirent.
Carrentals.co.uk managing director Gareth Robinson said: “Simon’s team has worked hard to secure our business and it makes sense to carry on with a winning formula. SYYCO’s experience in the travel sector helped them win the initial contract but this new deal is based on proven success.”
