Former radio station home for sale
Chartered surveyors Sanderson Weatherall is working to breathe new life into the former home of a North East radio station.
Radio House, in Stockton, has been put up for sale after TFM Radio’s operations were moved to Tyneside to sit alongside its sister station Metro Radio.
Now, the prominent modern building on the Teesdale Business Park, where it sits alongside international and national companies such as Barclaycard, Churchill Insurance, Durham University and various Government departments, is available ready to be put back into use.
The Yale Crescent building comprises a total of 784 square metres over three floors, with 44 dedicated car parking spaces, and is available for sale, but with consideration given to letting. Sanderson Weatherall is marketing the building on behalf of the syndicated owner.
Jonathan Simpson, Partner at Sanderson Weatherall, said: “This is a hugely prominent building, offering a great opportunity to acquire a trophy building at what is effectively the gateway to Teesdale Business Park.
“It will be great to see this building back in use, and we are looking forward to helping to breathe new life into one of Stockton’s landmark buildings, whether it is as an office, gym or another alternative use.”
