Leeds-based Emsleys further endorsed by the Law Society
Leeds-based Emsleys has joined only a handful of firms in the UK to be awarded membership to the Law Society’s Wills and Inheritance Quality Scheme (WIQS), the mark of excellence for wills, probate and estate administration.
Emsleys is the first law firm in West Yorkshire to be awarded the trust mark, which follows rigorous assessment by the Law Society.
Liz Stephen, partner and head of Wills & Probate at Emsleys said: “We are delighted to have secured WIQS status as it acts as a kite-mark for consumers, showing we have been independently verified as a firm they can trust.
“To achieve it is recognition of our consistently high standards in client service and transparency in process, costs and communications.
“The award is further validation of Emsleys’ credentials in client service following our recent Client Care Initiative of the Year award win at the 2013 Modern Law Awards and securing of the Law Society’s Quality Conveyancing Scheme (CQS) status – the mark of excellence for the home buying and selling process.”
The WIQS was launched by the Law Society to provide SRA-regulated firms with the opportunity to demonstrate to consumers and key stakeholders their commitment to the highest standards of client service.
It helps consumers distinguish between highly-trained, regulated solicitors and unregulated will writers.
