Catalan passion earns Liverpool restaurant Top Taste accreditation
Lunya restaurant, which opened in the Liverpool ONE retail district in March 2010, has the Highest Quality Assured Award from Taste Northwest.
With a score of over 80%, Lunya has been recognised with the highest level of accreditation for offering a quality dining experience.
Set in a converted 18th Century warehouse, Lunya was founded by former management consultant Peter Kinsella who developed a passion for Catalan food while working with the regional government in Barcelona.
He said: “We are delighted with our Taste Northwest Accreditation. Lunya is passionate about all things food and drink that are of the highest quality.
“The accreditation will also be important in helping the consumer find out about our eating out and wining and dining offer plus our new online deli experience with more than 1,000 products available which is the largest of its kind in the UK.”
Lunya joins other accredited dining venues in the North West with a presence on www.tastenw.co.uk as well as Taste Northwest’s mark of quality promoting quality assurances in food and service.
It will also be promoted further through Taste Northwest’s partnership with organisations including the Liverpool Enterprise Partnership and Marketing Cheshire, to attract food lovers looking for a quality dining experience across the North West
“We’re pleased to showcase great eateries such as Lunya that offer great food combined with an inviting environment and a commitment to excellent customer service – an all round winner for food lovers,” says Mark Loynton, Director of Taste Northwest.
