Tadea join forces with Erimus Housing
Billingham-based energy efficiency firm Tadea have partnered with Teesside not-for-profit housing association, Erimus Housing to offer advice to tenants.
Tadea will deliver free home visits to tenants, providing advice on fuel efficiency and fuel tariff switching.
Samantha Granger, sustainability co-ordinator at Erimus Housing, said: “Tadea advisors have been offering help and advice on how residents can save money on energy, whilst maintaining a warm and healthy temperature by carrying out home energy checks.
“Our residents have really benefited from the knowledge and expertise of the advisors and we have had a number of people call and pass on their thanks to the Tadea staff for being so helpful and friendly.”
Sarah Lee, Health Projects manager at Tadea, added: “We’re working alongside Erimus Housing to help get energy efficiency advice and support directly to those tenants who need it, in order to help cut their fuel bills and keep them warm and healthy at home.
“The visits are proving really effective – the advice is delivered face-to-face in residents’ homes, tailored to each household, and focussed purely on their individual circumstances.
“Our advisors are sitting down with people and explaining how to use their heating systems and read their energy bills, and they are making sure that they’re getting access to all the support they are actually entitled to.
“It’s great to work alongside Erimus Housing to deliver this project, and it’s great to see these visits making such a positive difference in the lives of so many people.”
