Taylor&Emmet Puts Heads Together for TUPE Event
Employment law experts at Sheffield’s Taylor&Emmet LLP are helping local businesses get to grips with the most significant changes to the TUPE regulations in eight years.
Taylor&Emmet is inviting employers and HR practitioners to its TUPE Master Class to find out more about the new rules affecting the transfer of staff from one business to another.
Held at the Leopold Hotel in Sheffield city centre on March 20, this interactive workshop will look at the latest reforms to the regulations and issues that can arise from a TUPE transfer. Case studies will also be used to explore practical solutions to the most common problems faced by employers.
The breakfast seminar will be led by Taylor&Emmet’s head of employment law, David Poddington, who specialises in TUPE. He said: “This year heralds important changes to the regulations and we want to ensure local employers understand their obligations under the revised TUPE legislation. Bidding for contracts that may involve the transfer of staff can be a daunting prospect, but we believe having a good grasp of the issues involved allows companies to seek new business with confidence.”
Taylor&Emmet’s TUPE Master Class will run from 8am to 10.45am and will include an opportunity for delegates to network and ask questions of the firm’s experienced employment law team. Seats cost £35 per person and can be booked online at www.tayloremmet.co.uk/advance.
