Boldon IT firm open retail outlet
A Boldon-based IT firm is expanding in the region with a new retail arm.
Integrity Technology Services has opened a shop at its base on Hedworth Lane in Boldon Colliery with a view to extend its services to individual customers.
Job Place established the firm three years ago with just a handful of clients and since then has gone on to employ a team of five technicians to look after a customer-base of more than 80 firms.
The 37-year-old from East Boldon, said: “It’s been quite a whirlwind but we are obviously doing something right! We moved to our new base in 2012 which has proved to be a bit of a catalyst as we have experienced a very impressive run of new clients over the last six months.
“As we are situated in a residential area, it seemed the logical next step to open a drop-in shop for anyone needing help with their computer or laptop.”
Jon started his career with Compaq dealership Coniston Computers in Sunderland in the early 90s before building up an impressive portfolio of experience with NCS Group and IT Professional Services.
He added: “We have a broad range of clients ranging from small consultancies to large engineering firms and all the technology headaches that come with it.
“We can handle large projects – one of our largest clients has 150 users based around the UK. And while this is an area we will continue to target and specialise in, I was also keen to offer our expertise on a more individual ad hoc basis, to cover all ends of the market.
“We are open to all individuals and can carry out a wide range of services, big or small, including same day computer cleaning, iPad and iPhone screen repairs and general servicing work.”
