Inventor of Woof to Wash to showcase at Crufts
Leeds based laundry specialist JTM service who devised and launched the world’s first dog-activated ‘Woof to Wash’ washing machine will be showcasing its innovation at Crufts at Birmingham NEC from March 6.
JTM created the ‘Woof to Wash’ for Support Dogs, who train and provide specialist assistance dogs, and are exhibiting with the national charity at the four day event – one of the biggest dog shows in the world.
John Middleton, MD of JTM, and Rita Howson, director of operations at Sheffield-based Support Dogs, will explain about the work of the charity and how JTM harnessed its pioneering technology to help make life easier for people with a range of disabilities.
Disability assistance Labrador Essie will be demonstrating the unique washer at the prestigious event which attracts 150,000 visitors each year.
John Middleton said “Following the phenomenal success of Woof to Wash we are looking forward to demonstrating how our machine is helping disabled people. Showcasing at Crufts is also a fantastic chance for the public to see the amazing work of Support Dogs.”
JTM Service provides laundry facilities and services for more than 100 social housing providers and 800 care homes from the Scottish Borders to the Midlands.
