“You’re hired" - TV’s ‘Apprentice’ star Karren Brady to address Accelerate 2014
Karren Brady, star of BBC TV’s ‘The Apprentice’, fashion guru Wayne Hemingway and Michelle Mone, founder of international lingerie brand Ultimo, top the list of speakers for Accelerate 2014.
Expected to be one of the major draws at this year’s International Festival Business (IFB), Accelerate 2014 will aim to repeat the success of its inaugural year when more than 1,000 delegates were treated to master classes from inspirational business stars.
Accelerate 2014 will be presented by Liverpool-born TV news and foreign affairs journalist and presenter Krishnan Guru-Murthy and also features many other celebrated entrepreneurs, including:
- Steve Smith, Liverpool’s Olympic high-jump medallist turned businessman
- Lara Morgan, founder of Pacific Direct, the global luxury hotel goods supplier
- Kreese Wesling, Canadian environmental entrepreneur, founder of Elvis & Kreese
- Bryan Adams, CEO of Liverpool-based Ph.Creative one of the UK’s leading full service digital marketing agencies
- Andy Bounds, best-selling author of business titles ’The Jelly Effect and ‘The Snowball Effect’ and
- Adam Shaw, digital entrepreneur, Ideas & Co.
The event at the Arena & Convention Centre Liverpool on Thursday, June 20th will be opened by Mayor of Liverpool, Joe Anderson OBE and closed by Max Steinberg CBE, chief executive of Liverpool Vision and chairman of IFB 2014.
