Bradley Hall named letting agent for Northumberland Estates properties
A North East chartered surveyor has been named as the letting agent for commercial properties owned by The Northumberland Estates.
Bradley Hall has been tasked with marketing Earls House to prospective tenants. Located on the Team Valley Trading Estate, the property is made up of several small office units and would be ideal for start-ups and small established businesses.
The company has also been named as the joint letting agent for a 2,400 sq ft retail unit on the Quorum Business Park in North Tyneside. The business park spans 900,000 sq ft and is home to bakery firm Greggs, retail giant Tesco and construction services specialist Balfour Beatty.
The two properties are part of a portfolio of properties owned by The Northumberland Estates, which looks after the business interests of the Duke of Northumberland.
A third property, which used to be part of the estates’ portfolio before it was sold, has also come onto the market. Bradley Hall has been instructed to let an 8,070 sq ft industrial unit at Derwent Court on the Team Valley Trading Estate, a 700-acre mixed-use business site near the A1.
Located on the Earls Park North Development, the property is situated on a small estate of eight identical units. Comprising a warehouse and office space on the ground and first floors, the property is available on a long-term lease with rental costs of £46,500 per year.
Richard Rafique, associate director at Bradley Hall, said: “We are thrilled to have been named as a preferred letting agent for these three properties, which are all extremely well positioned near main arterial routes.
“We have seen increased activity in the commercial market on the back of rising investor confidence. Transaction rates have picked up as tenants take advantage of generous rental discounts.
“The industrial sector has been particularly strong and I expect that we’ll see further growth in this market throughout this year and into next.”
