CBRE Leeds to market Wakefield Latitude Park distribution centre

A team at CBRE in Leeds has been instructed by Wilton Developments to market its 135,000 sq ft Latitude 135 industrial scheme at Latitude Park near Wakefield, West Yorkshire.

CBRE strengthens the existing agency team of Carter Towler and Lambert Smith Hampton on the major industrial scheme which comprises a 131,019 sq ft warehouse unit with 4,153 sq ft of offices and potential for a 65,000 sq ft extension.

The Park is an extension to the Wakefield Europort which provides daily rail access to Europe via the channel tunnel and has occupiers such as Asda, Argos, DHL, and TKMAXX.

The instruction follows CBRE’s recent announcement that it has recruited regional industry expert Mike Baugh as senior director within its northern Industrial Agency team.

Mike comments; “Latitude 135 occupies one of the North’s most strategic locations with the M1 intersection, A1(M) and M18 all under five miles away and Wakefield Europort next door.

“High take-up levels towards the last half of 2013 have seen supply levels of ready-to-occupy stock fall to around 1.6 m sq ft. the majority of which is in the south of the region, so opportunities such as this where occupiers can move in and still have potential to expand later on are more in demand than ever.”
