Company director secures specialist industry accreditation
Inspection services provided by a North East specialist coatings firm has been validated with a prestigious industry endorsement.
The quality of Stovrite Specialist Coatings’ offering has been officially acknowledged with director Gary Forster being awarded level two painting inspector accreditation by the Institute of Corrosion (ICORR).
To gain the validation, Mr Forster had to undergo a training course including a rigorous practical assessment to prove he met ICORR’s exacting standards.
Stovrite-SC, which based in Felling, Gateshead, employs a nine-strong workforce and specialises in work for the oil & gas, marine, nuclear, aerospace and defence sectors.
Alfred Manuel, Owner of Stovrite-SC, which is a member of NOF Energy, the business development and support organisation for the oil, gas, nuclear and offshore renewables sectors, said: “This prestigious endorsement will help demonstrate to potential clients the quality of the inspection services that Stovrite can offer.
“Mr Forster had to meet the rigorous criteria of ICORR before being awarded the level 2 certification.”
