Manor Walks’ mission to find the region’s most magnificent mam

Northumberland’s leading shopping and retail destination is on a mission to find the region’s Most Magnificent Mam as it offers shoppers the chance to win an exclusive Mother’s Day hamper.

Manor Walks Shopping & Leisure in Cramlington has launched its annual Mother’s Day competition in a bid to show mams across the region how special they are.

As well as being crowned Manor Walks’ Most Magnificent Mam, one lucky lady will also receive a sterling silver heart locket with personalised engraving from The Jewellers Guild, a No7 pamper pack from Boots, a manicure and nail extension package from Star Nails, an Elemis facial and Aroma hot stone massage from Saks, a family ticket for four people to Vue Cinema Cramlington, a three-course meal for two at Prezzo and a Dunelm gift card worth £20.

Last year Jean Morrison, a devoted mam of three from Seaton Delaval, was awarded the title after daughter Kate nominated her because she had so much love to give not only to her own daughters and six grandchildren but also to the children she fosters.

To enter the competition shoppers can pick up an entry form, available in selected Manor Walks retailers and on the mall, to contend why their nominee is the most magnificent mam.

Completed entries should be dropped into the centre’s competition post box located next to Newcastle Building Society by Tuesday 25 March 2014. The winner will then be announced on Thursday 27 March 2014.

Manor Walks’ general manager, Bruno Coppola said: “Set in the heart of Cramlington, Manor Walks welcomes magnificent mams from across the region every day and we’re thrilled to once again be hosting our Mother’s Day competition.

“We received a fantastic number of entries last year and are expecting a great deal of interest again from our shoppers this year as they look to recognise the efforts of their loved ones.

“Our generous retailers have offered a selection of luxurious prizes to make Mother’s Day all the more special for one deserving mam and we’re looking forward to hearing from our visitors on why their mam is magnificent.”
