New digital agency joint venture for Mason Williams
Manchester PR firm Mason Williams is taking a key role in the setting up of a new digital agency – We Are Native.
The new venture is collaboration between MW Digital and Benn Achilleas, who founded Neoco, a digital and social agency based in Tech City, London.
We Are Native will be based in London and Manchester and is already working on several briefs for hotels, football clubs, consumer electronics and banks.
With several clients engaging the agency before the official launch, the team is expecting rapid growth in both Manchester and London.
Previous work for both agencies includes Global and European product launch campaigns of consumer products across sports, entertainment and consumer electronics, including: website builds for the NHS; NFC work for London Evening Standard; launch of flagship Sony mobile devices and Samsung media players; Chelsea FC fan engagement campaigns and 2k Games blockbuster titles with full digital, experiential, mobile, social and community management across Europe.
Speaking about the joint venture Chairman John Williams said: “We have been involved in the digital space for almost 20 years now, originally in SEO and developing into social media, website design and build plus community management.
“With our collaboration with Benn we gain a wealth of new experience and an extraordinary talent to take us to the next level in our offering. Native will offer digital marketing solutions to brands wishing to engage with consumers across all social media platforms.”
Benn Achilleas said: “I sold out of my previous agency looking to do something different in the digital space. Meeting the guys at Mason Williams made me quickly realise that this was a team I wanted to work with.
“Together I believe we will do extraordinary things but more importantly have a vehicle to bring more people in to the industry. London and Manchester have a thriving pool of talent in the digital arena which we want to tap into.”
