Architecture and interior design practice DV8 Designs unveils new Manchester gastro pub Beef & Pudding
DV8 Designs has officially unveiled its most recent project in the form of new Manchester gastro-pub Beef & Pudding.
Assigned by the prestigious New Moon Pub Company, the Warrington-based architecture and interior design practice has transformed the Fountain Street site, which was formerly The Crown, into what it set to be the city’s most hotly anticipated venue.
All of the furnishings have been locally sourced, and includes reclaimed scaffolding as well as sophisticated tan leather booths.
Lee said: “Our vision was to create a modernistic urban pub and kitchen, which counterbalanced both stylish and classical attributes.
“In order to create a true rustic feel to the venue, we have incorporated ultra-modern décors with a roughed-up edge. Additionally, we have added many interesting decorative elements to accentuate the overall architectural design.”
This is the first Manchester venture to be launched by entrepreneurs David Mooney and Paul Newman and the duo are promising customers a wealth of hearty dishes befitting of the restaurant’s Beef & Pudding, which is a nod to a famed caricature of the Peterloo Massacre.
Paul said: “Lee and his team have done a fantastic job in fulfilling the brief. Everything about the design is what David and I had previously envisioned. “We hope that the look and feel of the venue will down a treat amongst the public and will therefore attract a broad spectrum of customers.”
DV8 Designs, which was established in 2006, has attained high acclaim through their impressive and diverse portfolio that includes residential, bars, pubs, restaurants, hotels, leisure centres, swimming pools, spas, golf clubs and offices.
