EON Reality marks first anniversary with Virtual Reality workshop

EON Reality, the world’s leading interactive 3D software provider for business and education based on Virtual Reality technology, is to celebrate the first anniversary of opening its European headquarters based in Manchester by holding a free Virtual Reality for Edutainment and Industries workshop on Thursday 10 April from 9.30am – 5pm.

The workshop will be hosted by Dan Lejerskar, EON Reality’s chairman, and take place at their Interactive Digital Centre in Central Park, east Manchester.

There will be a series of talks by high profile international experts throughout the day including Hollywood Director Pierre De Lespinois who will talk about new trends in Edutainment development - Hollywood meets Silicon Valley, Professor Lee Sing Kong, Director of National Institute of Education, Singapore who will discuss Virtual 3D Learning – Classroom of the Future and former Senior Engineering Associate at ExxonMobil Joe Cheben will explain how the oil and gas industry is using Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality to improve training and safety.

The day will also include a tour of the facilities and the opportunity to test-drive the latest virtual and augmented reality technologies.
