New Lloyds business development director sees mid-sized businesses as ‘crucial to recovery’

Lloyds Bank Commercial Banking has strengthened its operations in Merseyside, West Lancashire and North Wales with the appointment of Hannah-Louise Smith as Business Development Director.

Based at the bank’s flagship offices in Liverpool city centre, she will provide financial solutions and guidance to mid-sized businesses and large corporates, that turnover in excess of £25 million.

Hannah-Louise Smith moves to Merseyside from a national role within Lloyds Banking Group. She was previously Liquidity Advisory Director for Scotland and the North, advising businesses on how to optimise their cash deposits and review their liquidity management policies, a position that she held for three years.

Prior to joining Lloyds Bank, she spent four years at The Royal Bank of Scotland in business development and liquidity roles.

She is a graduate of Nottingham Business School and a member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments and the Association of Corporate Treasurers.

Hannah-Louise Smith said: “Mid-sized businesses have a crucial role to play in the UK’s continuing economic recovery and prospects for 2014 and beyond are encouraging.
