Stockton App outfit reach into education sector
North East based creative app agency, Mobile Rockit has expanded into the education sector and adding to its sales team.
The Stockton firm has teamed up with Dr Craig Small, an educational psychologist and Craig Wilkie, a teacher, both based in Nottingham, in order to make Apps part of the learning process in schools.
Mobile Rockit announced its expansion into this new sector at the National Association of School Business Management conference in Nottingham, which helps school business managers meet the new demands of academy status.
Dr Craig Small, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity for us to help schools develop a fun and engaging system that will positively improve children’s educational experiences and present further opportunities for growth.
“MobileRockit’s team has been of great support and their wealth of experience has been invaluable. We’re excited for the future of the firm and the part we’re playing.”
After a successful first year in trading, and an increase in demand for its services, the firm has added members to its sales team.
Adam Lee, who owns Mobile Rockit along with his business partner Sam Whisker, said: “It’s extremely exciting to be expanding outside of our native North East and into the wider UK markets.”
Mobile Rockit has been incredibly popular among businesses, including The North East Chamber of Commerce and it is hoped that that the Nottingham deal will be the start of many outside of the region.
The firm was founded by web design consultancy Koodoo Creative and specialises in mobile app design and development.
