Businesses invited to play a role in the annual awards for family businesses
Sponsorship of the 2014 not-for-profit, independent Midlands Family Business Awards is gathering pace, and organisations keen to take advantage of the profile and networking opportunities of being involved are being urged to act quickly and contact the organisers.
“The 2014 Awards open for entries and have their official launch on the 1st May,” explains Awards Creative Director Hilary Campton, “when the full line-up of categories, judges and sponsors will be unveiled.
“As a charitable initiative, we are indebted to the generosity of our sponsors and supporters, and for those businesses keen to add their support and get involved in the Awards this year, only three of the ten categories remain available for sponsorship, so we would urge them to get in touch with us as soon as possible.”
The Awards, now in their fifth year, already have Midlands’ accountants and business advisors Smith Cooper as headline sponsor, with category sponsors including PwC, Barclays and Shakespeares.
As Hilary explains, the Awards are well established and respected across the Midlands and for all sponsors they bring a host of benefits:
“The benefits of being involved in the Awards ranges from media and publicity opportunities, raising awareness for sponsors’ own business and people, connecting with the Awards’ extensive and growing community of family businesses, independent judges, media and advisers, as well as numerous high-level networking at the awards’ launches, fundraising events and the spectacular black tie Awards Dinner in November.”
For more information about the Awards and available sponsorship opportunities, contact Hilary Campton, e: Hilary@vformation.biz or Ped Briggs, e: pbriggs@wilorg.com.
