Wheel repair firm expands with help of startup property consultancy in Leeds
Wheel Wizard, a Leeds-based vehicle repair company, has moved into a 7,500 sq ft industrial site with the help of startup property consultancy Holder & Co.
The property company was formed in February by Owen Holder, ex-industrial property partner with Knight Frank, and sourced the accommodation at Copley Hill Trading Estate in Whitehall Road, Leeds as its first deal.
Wheel Wizard, who provide alloy wheel repairs to vehicles, have signed up on a new five-year lease, and will move into their new accommodation during this month. The landlords of Copley Hill Trading Estate are Towngate Plc.
Owen Holder commented: “I’m delighted to have completed our first acquisition so quickly. This represents the start of an exciting journey for the new business and I have personally been overwhelmed by the support for my new venture.
“I am very pleased to boast that, in the two months we have been trading, we already have 14 active instructions, the majority of which are occupiers who welcome our personal approach, attention to detail and, perhaps most importantly, competitive fee levels.”
Dan Besau, the owner and managing director of Dent Wizard, commented: “This was our first foray into the commercial property market and Owen’s experience and advice was invaluable.
“His input and contacts within the market have saved the business thousands of pounds, both in rental incentives negotiated and protecting and limiting our potential repairing liabilities going forward.
“This is a new venture for us as we undertake solely bespoke high-end alloy wheel repairs. We have invested in new equipment to carry out the repairs to an extremely high standard and will be the only dedicated alloy wheel repair specialists in Yorkshire.”
Philip Caspell of Towngate PLC, commented: “We are thrilled to welcome Dan and the Wheel Wizard team to Copley Hill and we are confident that the location will work well for them.
“This is one of the premier trading estates in Leeds, with the added benefit of offering excellent management with remotely monitored security”.
