Work starts on £38 million Darlington-based National Biologics Centre
The ground has been broken on the site of Darlington’s £38 million National Biologics Centre, which is set to bring innovation in the manufacture of biological medicines such as antibodies and vaccines, to the North East.
It will be managed by the Centre for Process Innovation (CPI) as part of the High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Catapult.
The Centre will host laboratories where biotechnologies will be innovated to find the next generation of medicines.
