Polaris Media secures Engenda Group as client

Engineering specialist PR firm Polaris Media has been appointed to raise the profile of Runcorn headquartered engineering firm the Engenda Group.

The Engenda Group is one of the UK’s fastest growing engineering companies offering mechanical, electrical and instrumental (ME&I) engineering services and recently managed a £4.6 million oil refinery shutdown in Sweden.

The client win follows a series of new business appointments for Polaris in 2014. The company, run by brothers Ben and Sam Pinnington, has also kickstarted campaigns for Southport’s biggest manufacturer Lattimer and Liverpool based engine product maker Cataclean.

Polaris has further expanded its maritime portfolio into the Middle East this year working with Oman Drydock Company, one of the newest and biggest shipyards in the world.

Polaris director Sam Pinnington said the firm is delighted to be working with Engenda again following a campaign it ran for the company in 2012. He said Polaris will be offering Engenda a range of its services including publicity, photography, copy writing, enewsletters, social media, trade show support and design.

“Polaris has four key growth areas over the next five years: engineering, maritime, manufacturing and exports,” he said.

“Engenda is therefore a very good fit for our skill set. We have worked hard to develop knowledge and expertise in promoting engineering companies. Engenda is keen to build its profile and reputation and grow understanding of its range of services.

“The publicity campaign will mainly focus on promoting the company in regional press as well as national and international trade press. Key sector media includes manufacturing, oil and gas, petrochemical and power generation.”

“Media coverage carries even greater weight today as reports are retained online which is effective for improving Google rankings and attracting ‘spot business’.”

Polaris was founded on Merseyside and has offices in Liverpool, Manchester and Ellesmere Port. Its clients include Cammell Laird, the CBI and a range of owner managed and foreign owned companies.
