HTL expand into new Cramlington headquarters following £2.2 million investment
North East distributors of controlled bolting equipment HTL have quadrupled the size of their regional operations following a move into new Cramlington headquarters.
The firm, which also operates facilities in Aberdeen and Manchester, has grown its workforce over the last quarter by 20% and now employs 50 staff across its UK sites.
New premises on Nelson Park Industrial Estate in Cramlington represents the firm’s largest ever investment at £2.2 million and will increase workshop space and provide space for extra rental stock.
Managing director, Stephen Jones, said: “Purchasing the new premises is a major step forward in our growth strategy. We started out in premises the size of a double garage with two employees and now have over 50 staff across three UK facilities in Manchester, Aberdeen and Cramlington.
“This is a great performance indicator of how our company has grown as a result of everyone’s hard work and commitment to our on-going expansion and journey to become a true Global Controlled Bolting Supplier.”
HTL has ambitions to grow its international reach, and currently works with partners in Iraq, Kazakhstan and and Malaysia.
A subsidiary HTL Benelux also supplies to markets in the Netherlands, Belgium and Luxembourg.
