Major conference on diversity set for Liverpool
One of the North West region’s most high profile and respected voices on workplace diversity and inclusion has announced plans to bring a major national conference to Liverpool.
Garth Dallas runs the international diversity consultancy business, Global Diversity Partners, which has supported many Corporate Social Responsible (CSR) initiatives in the region.
He will be the key speaker at the Diverse Magazine, Diversity and Inclusion Conference to be held on Wednesday, July 9th 2014, at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, Liverpool City Centre.
Mr Dallas’s team will be bringing together some of the world’s leading practitioners in the area of workplace diversity management to the city.
He said: “The underlying themes throughout will be to explore how organisations can gain Business Growth and Competitive Advantage through effective Diversity and Inclusion.
“We are making strides in Liverpool towards a better understanding of the issues and I’m also delighted that this city will be staging the conference rather than London that is typically home to such events.
“Ultimately, the event is a great opportunity for Liverpool to address some underlying issues and progress in order to become a truly integrated workplace. I’m confident the benefits will help to improve perceptions within the indigenous workings of the city and how we are perceived from outside of the city.”
The conference is an officially licensed event within the International Festival for Business (IFB) to be held in Liverpool between June and July this year.
Mr Dallas added: “We are very proud that our conference will be one of the highlight in the Cities, Enterprise & Urban Business category of the IFB Programme.
“It will act as a launch pad for commercial success via the adoption of inclusion strategies within businesses, by providing opportunities to engage with new networks and explore global best practices.”
Garth Dallas has spent the last 20 years focusing on the diversity and inclusion sector with its headline published title, Diverse Magazine, in particular, enjoying rapid growth in recent years following strategic realignment of the business and widespread reach across the UK and Europe.
