Rotherham glass manufacturer drums up new business with trip to BrewExpo America
Rotherham glass manufacturer Beatson Clark has visited the UK and overseas in the past month drumming up new business.
Beatson Clark rounded off a busy month at Beer in Sheffield and the Food & Drink Expo at the Birmingham NEC, by exhibiting for the first time at BrewExpo America, the largest brewing trade show in the United States.
BrewExpo America, in association with the Craft Brewers Conference, was staged by the Brewers Association in Denver, Colorado. It is the only event in the US that serves both packaging breweries and brewpubs.
Charlotte Taylor, Marketing Manager at Beatson Clark said: “BrewExpo attracted over 7,000 visitors and we were very pleased with the number of prospective clients we met and talked to about the designs we offer.”
“BeerX was also a great opportunity to chat to clients old and new, and most people we spoke to were interested in embossing designs onto standard bottles.”
The company, which has been making glass bottles and jars in Rotherham since 1751, exhibited at BeerX, the annual conference of SIBA, the Society of Independent Brewers, in Sheffield in March for the first time.
As well as exhibiting, the company sponsored the national beer awards during the five-day event.
Beatson Clark manufactures bottles for breweries including Thornbridge, Meantime and Brooklyn Brewery in New York and attracted a lot of interest from brewers at the event.
