All Fired up for Apprentice of the Year Awards
HCS Mechanical in Northallerton has the champagne on ice in preparation for the forthcoming UK Copper Board National Apprentice of the Year 2014 Awards.
Apprentice plumbing and heating engineer, David Flowers, recently won the regional heat of the competition and will be joining six other finalists for the national awards ceremony on April 30.
David, 21 from Hunton, Bedale, works as a fourth year apprentice at HCS Mechanical and studies at Darlington College. “I am really excited to have made it to the finals” said David. “I am looking forward to the awards ceremony and even if I don’t win, I am just pleased to have come this far.”
Richard Clarke, Managing Director of HCS Mechanical said, “We are so proud of David and we are looking forward to cracking open the champagne with him. He has worked hard over the last four years and we wish him all the best of luck in the final.”
The Awards will take place at Adey Conference & Training Centre, Gloucester Road, Cheltenham GL51 8NR on 30th April - 1st May 2014.
