Voting now open for Liverpool City Region Tourism Awards
Merseysiders are being encouraged to vote for the best tourism or hospitality venues in the city and see them represented at the Liverpool City Region Annual Tourism Awards.
Organisers of the awards are keen to hear from individuals who have received excellent service from local businesses for the ‘People’s Choice for Business’ award.
The winner will be a business which has made a real difference to the region’s economy, or has simply provided an outstanding experience for its visitors during the last 12 months and deserves to be recognised.
Bill Addy, Chief Executive of Liverpool Commercial BID, sponsors of this award, said: “Liverpool is blessed with a huge number of businesses which provide an amazing service day in day out and are a huge credit to the city.
“This vote is a chance to salute their efforts and give them a chance to be recognised by the entire city. The awards ceremony is going to be a fantastic showcase of our amazing tourist attractions and we look forward to celebrating them.”
Cath O’Grady, Managing Director of Eventful, which is organising the awards, added: “Liverpool’s restaurants, pubs, cafés, hotels and visitor attractions are a huge asset to Liverpool’s tourism offer and we want to reward the very best in the city.”
