Fitness specialist muscles into new Jesmond premises
Newcastle health and fitness firm Fitness Matrix has moved into former office space on Benton Terrace in Jesmond.
The firm has taken a long-term lease on the building, and will use the extra space to employ an additional personal fitness trainer and expand its range of services.
Chartered surveyors Bradley Hall brokered a deal on behalf of the building’s owners, The Handley Trust.
Neil Hart, director at Bradley Hall, said: “This much sought-after property was available on a let basis, with Fitness Matrix deciding on a long-term lease option. It is situated in an area where there is likely to be a lot of passing trade, which is vital for the company as it looks to gain more customers and grow the business.
“In addition, the self-contained offices will make it easier for the company to hold different fitness classes simultaneously in the same building. The fact that there are six car parking spaces, five to the front of the building and one to the rear, was also an attractive proposition for Fitness Matrix.”
