Businesses can learn about the power of social media
Businesses across East Durham and Sedgefield are being given the chance to learn about the power of social media in a free masterclass organised by a local support organisation.
East Durham Business Service has teamed up with digital marketing entrepreneur Pascal Fintoni to host the business masterclass next Wednesday, May 14, at The Novus Centre in Peterlee.
The free event is being organised as part of the North East Rural Growth Network programme which East Durham Business Service is managing.
Sarah Marshall, East Durham Business Service’s Rural Enterprise Development Officer, said: “Through the North East Rural Growth Network programme, we’ve organised a number of niche and exciting workshops and masterclasses such as the one next week on social networking.
“Pascal Fintoni has kindly agreed to share his expertise on how businesses can and should be using social media to support their aims and objectives so we would urge anyone interested to book their place now as spaces are limited.
“Social media platforms such as Twitter and LinkedIn are an important tool for business growth and while some companies are really switched on to their benefits, others are unsure how to use them or just don’t see they will bring them a real benefit. But those who do use them know there is no better way of reaching a diverse and widespread audience without shelling out hundreds or even thousands of pounds.”
The masterclass starts at 9.30am and finishes at 4.30pm. To book your place email Sarah.Marshall@edbs.co.uk.
