Sumo launch free business events for brave brands

Newcastle based design agency Sumo have launched a series of free events for North East companies which they hope will inspire entrepreneurs, business leaders and marketing managers to create courageous brands. The Ideas for the Brave seminar series will bring leading figures from business and marketing to the region to share their stories. The first event will feature Simon Duffy, the cofounder of Bulldog Skincare for Men. He founded the company in 2006, taking on the might of L’Oreal and Unilever to build the leading skincare product for men in the UK and building an impressive business internationally. ‘Coming out of the recession, market places are more competitive than ever and we believe that companies need brave ideas to give their brands the edge that they need to succeed’ said Jim Richardson, founder of Sumo. ‘We’ve been helping courageous clients to push the boundaries for over a decade and Ideas for the Brave is one way in which Sumo can give back to the North East business community and hopefully inspire lots of people.’ Future Ideas for the Brave events will feature speakers from travel and fashion. The seminars are free to attend and the Simon Duffy event will take place on July 16th, 2014 in Newcastle. Further details of the Ideas for the Brave can be found on www.ideasforthebrave.co.uk
