Phantom’s itrack to reduce costs and clear up claims quicker
A new vehicle tracker will reduce insurance premiums and help owners reclaim their stolen cars and motorbikes quicker than ever claim its makers.
The itrack by Stockport-based Phantom is set to take the market by storm when it is officially launched in May. It has a simple plug in device, is cheaper than many of its competitors and alerts the company’s call-centre automatically if activated thanks to its GPS/GSM-based system.
It is the latest product to be launched by the Greater Manchester company, and follows hot on the heels of its successful Pro3 vehicle tracker. The company employs 10 people at its Stockport base from where it offers business and leisure customers a range of products including puncture protection, personnel and small asset tracking, reversing sensors and cameras, engine remapping and mileage capture systems. A nationwide fitting service is also available.
“The itrack is Thatcham Quality Assured so our customers can get the full benefits of cheaper insurance for their vehicles and get added peace of mind that, in the event of their car, motorbike or van being stolen, it can be recovered quickly. Once it’s triggered, an alarm notification comes into our call centre who can immediately call the police so they can track its whereabouts,” said Steve Cherry, managing director of Phantom.
“It works equally well in commercial or fleet vehicles and privately-owned vehicles and can be fitted quickly and easily. It offers a convenient, simple solution to vehicle theft for most owners.”
The itrack works throughout Europe and has full-roaming capabilities.
