Yorkshire’s Hainsworth teams up with Welsh textile firm
Yorkshire textile firm Hainsworth has teamed up with Welsh linen company Mitre to launch a high end collection for boutique hotels,
The two Royal Warrant holders met at the Queen’s Coronation Festival and decided to team up for a collection including exquisite blankets and throws from Scarlet & Argent by Yorkshire’s Hainsworth.
Stephen Broadhurst, Mitre Linen’s managing director said: “We met Hainsworth at the Coronation Festival and liked the idea of two Royal Warrant holders joining together in collaboration.
“Heritage by Mitre is a new range which includes bespoke bed linens, soft furnishings, hotel towels and bedding, as well as fine throws and blankets. We are particularly delighted to count Scarlet & Argent by Hainsworth, fabric supplier to the world’s royalty and our very own Queen Elizabeth II, among our partners.”
Heritage by Mitre was launched to 40 representatives of five star hotel representatives at a preview event in the Penthouse at The Wellesley Hotel in Knightsbridge, London. Scarlet & Argent samples are already on display in The Landmark London Hotel and The Guoman Tower Hotel.
Hainsworth Sales & Marketing Director Diane Simpson, said: “We’re delighted to be collaborating with Mitre for the first time. We met at the Coronation Festival and since then have worked together to prepare a joint collaboration to target top quality, high end hotels.
