Gateshead HR consultancy acquires South East health and safety specialists
Gateshead-based HR consultancy Deminos has acquired Kent-based health and safety training and quality assurance firm, OSL (South East) Ltd.
Deminos, which currently services around 300 clients nationally from offices in the North East, London and Reading, will now be able to offer a broader range of services.
Ashford-based OSL, which was established in 2001, has assisted companies comply with health and safety regulations and install UKAS accredited quality assurance systems complying with the ISO 9001, ISO14001, ISO 18001, PAS 43 & National Highways Sector Scheme standards.
Neil Atkinson, managing director of Deminos, said: “I am very pleased to announce this strategically significant acquisition. Human resources and health and safety go hand in hand and the services provided by OSL are very much an easy and compatible ‘bolt-on’ to our existing services.”
Deminos, which employs 20 staff, was established in Gateshead seven years ago by Neil and his human resources executive wife, Louise.
Neil added: “The range of services provided by OSL will provide a value-added ‘one stop shop’ to businesses and organisations who would value the convenience of using one company to serve both their human resource and health and safety and compliance requirements.”
