Bradford motor company relocation creates new jobs
JCT600 has relocated the service team at its Volkswagen Van Centre York to a nearby stand-alone site enabling it to expand facilities for customers and creating three new jobs.
Located at Centurion Park, Clifton Moor, the new site, which is across the road from the showroom, features five service bays, more than doubling the centre’s capacity. An additional three technicians have been recruited in line with the increased throughput.
“The expanded facilities have reduced waiting times for customers and further improved service,” comments Mark Flintoff, after sales manager at Volkswagen Van Centre York.
“By moving servicing to a separate, larger site, we have been able to introduce operating efficiencies and a more focused approach to this specialist activity.”
As well as moving to a new home, the York after sales team is also celebrating coming top in the JCT600 After Sales League which recognises outstanding customer care and performance at the motor retailer’s commercial vehicle centres.
Volkswagen Van Centre York offers a full range of new and used vehicles as well as service and maintenance facilities.
JCT600, which has its head office in Bradford, is a family business with 47 dealerships throughout Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and the North East. It sells 19 of the world’s most respected brands such as Aston Martin, Audi, Bentley, BMW/MINI, Ferrari, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz, Peugeot, Porsche, Vauxhall and Volkswagen.
