Synergi on recruitment drive for specialist tech skills
North East software providers Synergi Information Technology have launched a recruitment drive to a number of sales and technical engineering staff to support its rapid growth.
The Gateshead-based business, fronted by well know North East businessman Peter Joynson, is driving the adoption of the next generation of IT business technology tools and is keen to develop the skills base in the region.
Synergi is promoting Microsoft technologies, such as Office 365 and SharePoint, along with specially designed business apps.
Peter Joynson added: “We’re really excited about the future. Companies are not just interested in our products but in our different approach to working with them; we are helping clients use technology better, establishing meaningful business relationships and embarking on a journey where we can get their business to move from good to great to extraordinary.”
Synergi intends to develop a dedicated SharePoint team in the near future but is already anticipating difficulty finding people with the rights skills.
Peter explained: “SharePoint used to be a specialist software tool typically only adopted by large or international corporates. That has changed and the integration of a more flexible version within the mainstream Office 365 package means there will be an explosion in use and support requirements.”
Synergi has held meetings with Gateshead College with a view to establishing some sort of partnership where young people may get hands on work experience within a growing technology business and where the business can play a lead role in helping to develop curriculum and the right courses to ensure young people are fit for employment.
