Compliance software firm Altius doubles up to prepare for further growth
Supply chain compliance specialist Altius has more than doubled the size of its operation by expanding into 4.000sq ft premises at Derby’s Wyvern Business Park, adjacent to its previous office.
Over the past 12 months Altius has increased its turnover and staff numbers by 50% and is predicting 30% growth year-on-year.
The company’s software systems and compliance services are used by the likes of Morrisons, Selfridges, Airbus, Punch Taverns, and Arcadia Group to reduce supply chain risk. Last year, Altius clinched major USA export contracts with global advertising agency Leo Burnett and a Fortune 500 company, to provide software for the management of information security and data compliance.
Gary Plant, Managing Director of Altius, said: “We will create more new jobs this year as demand grows both in the UK and overseas. Our technologies enable organisations to gain complete, real-time visibility of the compliance of their supply chain and automate management reporting - helping them to reduce risk, cut costs and save time. As such, managers can get on with developing their supply chain rather than getting bogged down in cumbersome manual processes and spreadsheets.”
Earlier this year Altius took top honour in the i-FM Technology in FM Awards – winning the commercial category. The company is a previous British Institute of Facilities Management award winner.
