Google UK to sponsor ‘Mobile Monday Manchester’ Event
Google UK, alongside CTI Digital, UKFast and JusTaxi are to be the latest sponsors of the popular series of ‘Mobile Monday Manchester’ (MoMoMcr) events that offer networking and knowledge sharing opportunities to the UK’s mobile industry.
The high-profile event programme has previously included speakers from Nokia, the FT, Apadmi, O2 and Samsung. The next event, which takes place on 9th June at UKFast Campus, will give companies in the mobile sector the opportunity to demonstrate their latest products, ideas, technologies and projects.
Helen Keegan, Mobile Marketing veteran and Demo Night’s Event Chair commented: “I’m delighted to be able to support the upcoming Mobile Monday Manchester Demo Night. I love to see the new things that start-ups are working on and I’m curious to see what the burgeoning tech start-up scene in Manchester has to showcase”.
Garry Partington, founder of MoMoMcr added: “We are excited to be holding another Demo Night, following on from the great success of last year’s event where we had over 180 attendees. We’ve had a fantastic response, both from companies that want to showcase their products and services as well as people interested in attending.”
The event is free to attend and also offers delegates the opportunity to network and speak to the various companies featured in the demonstration slots. Event sponsors UKFast will be providing drinks for the evening and JusTaxi will be providing £500 worth of free taxis for attendees on the night.
Over 100 attendees have already registered, and previous events have included delegates from companies such as Sage, JD Sports, BlackBerry, EE, Manchester United and the Co-Operative Group.
Online registration for companies who would like to be considered for a demonstration slot is open until 28th May, whilst registration to attend is open until 2pm on 9th June. Go to https://demomomo.eventbrite.co.uk for registration information or http://www.momomcr.org/.
