Recruitment firm Veritas expands on the back of client wins
Leeds-based recruitment firm Veritas Recruitment Solutions, which specialises in property, construction and renewables recruitment, has expanded their team following major contract wins.
Luke Towning has joined as a solar recruitment specialist following a number of prestigious contract wins for the firm.
This follows the firm winning contracts from some of the UK’s leading renewable energy and construction firms including GMI Energy.
Veritas has now sourced approximately 25% of GMI Energy’s team and was responsible for the high-profile appointment of the firm’s director of Energy Efficiency John Swallow, who joined GMI earlier this year.
Managing director Chris Tinson founded Veritas four years ago with Jonathan Morgan, of Leeds based Morgans City Living, and the company has just enjoyed a record quarter in the first three months of 2014.
It now has a team of four based at The Loft at Carlton Mills and plans to continue recruiting over the coming months.
In his new role Luke is responsible for recruiting all types of personnel across the solar industry including solar panel installers and sales teams as well as people working at management and director level. He brings a wealth of recruitment experience to the position after previously spending eight years working in both legal and IT recruitment.
Chris Tinson says: “Both the renewable and construction markets are experiencing a huge increase in confidence and we’re currently working with some of the country’s most respected businesses, ranging from SMEs to PLCs, to assist them in recruiting across all positions, right up to director level.
“The solar industry is a particularly exciting market and Luke’s appointment will enable us to offer one of the region’s only dedicated solar recruitment divisions which is already generating lots of interest from businesses in the sector.”
Luke says: “This is a great opportunity to work in a fast growing and fascinating industry that is shaping the future of both construction and the UK’s green agenda, which makes it a great career move as Yorkshire continues to establish a reputation as a leading force in renewable energy.”
