York hospitality firm Beacon lends a helping hand to SME’s

York-based Beacon, which helps businesses in the hospitality, leisure and healthcare sectors grow their profitability, will be unveiling its three new customer packages later this month.

The creation of the three new packages will call upon Beacon’s expertise within the sectors it supports, which has been gained over the past 14 years.

Beacon was able to identify the challenges businesses are facing in the current marketplace, and introduce dedicated customer packages, which aim to help the wide range of businesses within the Beacon portfolio.

The three packages give customers a tiered option to the Beacon offering, giving them access to products and great prices, a consultative service or a business partnership depending on business need and budgets.

Design and refurbishment, consultancy and e-business form the three additional cornerstones of the Beacon offering.

With a growing number of its customers requiring remote support, Beacon has also launched a number of web-based services to support its customers with billing and sourcing quotations; all with the aim of helping businesses grow their profitability.

Beacon has worked in partnership with a number of Yorkshire based businesses including The Churchill Hotel in York, Scarcroft Golf Club in Leeds and The Sportsman Inn, Halifax.

Diane Webster, director of marketing at Beacon, commented: “We are a customer facing business, and as a well established purchasing partner to a variety of businesses in a number of different sectors, we have developed our expertise through our close working relationships to truly understand the challenges being faced by our customers today.

Following the recession and subsequent economic upturn, businesses are now looking ahead, and many are looking to refresh, refocus and reinvigorate their offering, whether it’s through the food available on a hotel’s menu, or the design of its public spaces.

“By launching the three new customer packages, following the introduction of our four new services earlier this year, we feel we are able to make a real commercial impact for our customers by servicing them more efficiently and sharing our core knowledge with them at every stage.”
