DWF unveils IFB 2014 calendar in Liverpool
National business law firm DWF has unveiled its full calendar of events as part of the International Festival for Business 2014, which is being held in Liverpool during June and July.
DWF is hosting 11 events throughout the two-month festival, including seminars, workshops and interactive sessions on a variety of topics such as arctic drilling, intellectual property, road safety and business finance.
In addition to its own events programme, the firm is also an official supporter of IFB 2014 and recently hosted the launch of its dedicated Professional and Financial Services week at the DWF London office last month.
Julie Simms, real estate partner at DWF and chair of the IFB 2014 Professional and Financial Services Committee, commented: “Businesses are faced with so many challenges today, from technology, finance and legal requirements to sustainability and advances in science. Our extensive events programme has been designed to cater to these needs and provide delegates with the answers they require to convert these challenges into opportunities.
“IFB 2014 is unlike any other business event held in Britain for decades. It gives companies of all sizes the chance to engage with a worldwide audience and to establish tangible business leads with international counterparts without even boarding a plane.”
IFB 2014 is set to be the UK’s most significant international trade and investment showcase since the 1951 Festival of Britain and the largest concentration of business events taking place anywhere in the world this year. It will comprise over 200 business-focused events, attracting entrepreneurs, investors, buyers, suppliers and trade intermediaries from around the globe.
