CBRE promotes four in Leeds office
Leading property firm, CBRE, has announced the promotion of four staff in its Leeds office as the company reports a successful first quarter of 2014 with robust revenue and earnings growth.
CBRE’s Leeds office has promoted Jonathan Shires to Senior Director and Steve Taylor, Nick Marsden and Lloyd Nicholson all to Associate Director. The promotions follow the firm’s recent national announcement that CBRE Group Inc. reported revenue of $1.9b in the quarter period ending 31st March 2014, which is a 26% increase on the same quarter last year.
Managing Director of CBRE’s Leeds office, Richard Sunderland, said; “The Leeds office has enjoyed a great start to the year with several new people joining the team in response to client demand for our varied service lines. The recent promotions demonstrate our commitment to progressing our valued team members through the business and our continued dedication to being an employer of excellence, retaining and recruiting the best in the business.
“The outlook for the property sector within the Yorkshire region continues to be boosted by the increasing take-up levels and returning confidence amongst occupiers. Investment into the city continues with the likes of Bridges at Airedale House, Network Rail at No. 1 Aire Street and Evans at Bond Court – all of which increases the city’s appeal. The retail and leisure boost provided by Trinity and the First Direct Arena continues to filter though the channels and gives the city greater visibility on a much broader scale. “
