Pontefract coach distributor set to grow with bank finance
Pontefract’s Moseley (PCV) Ltd has entered a new relationship with Barclays to assist with its strategic growth plans. The move to Barclays includes working capital and multicurrency overdraft facilities, providing the business with the flexibility for future expansion.
Headquartered in South Elmsall, Pontefract, Moseley (PCV) Ltd and their associated companies are the UKs largest independent coach distributor offering new and used coach sales, rentals, warranty, parts and training.
With a history spanning over 50 years, the family business has recently expanded the range of coaches they supply to include VDL, Van Hool, Sitcar and Indcar.
Karl Moseley, managing director of Moseley (PCV) Ltd said: “We are delighted to be joining Barclays following a fantastic 2013 and a great start to 2014.
“Barclays have taken the time to understand our business and this gives us the confidence to plan for the future. We continue to plan for growth and as a major importer of both vehicles and parts, it’s crucial that we have a banking partner that understands our trading requirements.
“Barclays has provided a wide ranging package and the funding will assist with our medium to long term growth plans and provide the flexibility for the seasonal new registrations which we experience.”
Charles Shepherd, relationship director at Barclays said: “We’ve been following the success of Moseley for some time now and it’s great that we can support the business with their growth plans going forward.
“The support we’ve been able to provide will see the group well positioned for further progress within their market and confirms our continued desire to support local businesses in the Yorkshire area.”
