Callcredit Information Group expands Leeds presence with help from Knight Frank
The Leeds office of global property consultancy Knight Frank has advised Callcredit Information Group on the company’s expansion at its Leeds offices at One Park Lane, where it has signed a lease for an additional 10,000 sq ft at its Park Lane headquarters. .
This means Callcredit now occupies the entire 80,000 sq ft in the building.
The Group’s customers include many of the UK’s leading financial services companies, including all of the major clearing banks, major international and alternative finance lenders. It also has customers across a mix of new and developing sectors.
Richard Clark, partner at Knight Frank’s Leeds office, explained that Knight Frank had been advising Callcredit since 2002, when the company was originally part of the Skipton Building Society.
He said: “We have worked as property advisers to Callcredit for the past 12 years, initially sourcing office space at One Park Lane.
“In 2006 we found more space for the expanding company and then re-geared their leases in 2010, giving them a commitment to One Park Lane until 2020”.
Hedia Delly, Group head of facilities & H&S at Callcredit commented, “Over the last 6 years Callcredit has grown significantly, in 2007 the business employed 400 people, today it employs approximately 1000 with the majority of those based at One Park Lane.
“As a result of this continued growth it was essential that we acquired additional office space here in Leeds. The fact that we have been able to extend our footprint within Leeds is important to us, especially as we are now the sole occupier”.
“The new space will allow us to extend our existing catering facilities, provide additional training and meeting rooms. The majority of the re-fit will be carried out by local a based company, which is extremely pleasing and ensures that our continued success provides a true ‘ripple’ effect in to the local business community”.
In addition to the Park Lane office the company has offices in, Hatfield in Kent, Bath, London, Swindon, Warrington, Japan, China and Lithuania.
The landlord of One Park Lane, Credit Suisse, was represented by Muller International.
